A journey through the senses

Dec 17, 2025

Alteris Women ended the year by embarking on a journey inwards with sommelier Amandine Fournier, founder of Vinesthesia. This unique event invited guests to slow down, connect, and explore how wine intertwines with memory, mood, and emotion.

Amandine took us beyond the glass, guiding a deep immersion in the five senses whilst tasting wine. Through curated pairings and sensory moments, guests experienced how taste, aroma, and storytelling can evoke powerful emotions.

The purpose of the afternoon was simple yet profound: to bring women together to learn, share, and feel empowered, not only about wine but about life and the decisions that shape it. Though wellbeing, storytelling, and mindful tasting, the event created space for connection.

What the women in the room valued most was the opportunity to pause and immerse themselves in something truly unique. Many spoke about how the sensory-led experience helped them feel more present, sparked meaningful conversations, and offered a refreshing way to connect with others. Amandine’s engaging approach and emotional storytelling left a lasting impression, inspiring curiosity and reflection. Guests also shared ideas for future topics, showing the appetite for continued learning and connection.

Thank you, Amandine, for a truly unique experience, and thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so special.
