Alteris Women named Finalist in Women in Finance Awards 2022

The highly anticipated Women in Finance Awards 2022 shines a light on every highly skilled and talented woman propelling the finance industry forward, and we are excited to be named a finalist in the category of ‘Women’s Community Program of the Year’.
Considered the pinnacle of innovation and excellence, the awards program was created to highlight the impressive achievements of top leading women in the sector, recognising them for their remarkable contribution and expertise.
The finalist list features more than 249 high-achieving professionals across 29 submission-based categories.
During a year of constant challenges and numerous changes, it is crucial to celebrate the leading women who are exceeding expectations and providing ongoing customer satisfaction.
Alteris’ vision is to be a boutique advice and investment business that is synonymous with quality client outcomes and is centered on objective-based advice combined with a disciplined and definable philosophy. As a business, we also believe that we should take active steps to contribute to the communities in which we operate. We knew that seeing commitment from Alteris in this space was important to both our people and our clients, both current and future.
While social and community service programs can focus on making a difference in many different ways, we wanted to create a program that aligned with our core belief – that financial wellbeing is not more important to one group in society than another – rather, that it matters to all.
We are proud of this recognition and look forward to connecting with other leading women influencing the Australian finance industry.
‘Around the world, women experience non-existent to very low levels of asset ownership, formal sector employment, decision making power and economic opportunity and earning than men. These gaps constrain economic growth and development. Even worse, as the pandemic rolls into its third year, we know that it has, and will continue to have, a disproportionately large effect on women – socially, psychologically, and of course financially.
The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) partners and members fund and support our signature program: Micro Credit. These small but vital investments help women lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of the cycle of poverty.
In Australia our amazing partner is Alteris Women – an outstanding initiative by the Alteris Financial Group. As a partner for TIAW, they could not be more aligned with our mission and vision, and by empowering women through their fundraising support of TIAW they are helping us change the world, one woman, one village, or one community at a time.
We are grateful to have them as our partners on our journey.
