Women & Money: Managing the Unexpected

Nov 9, 2023

This month we held our event “Women & Money: Managing the Unexpected” in our Sydney office. We had a diverse and experienced range of speakers which included Amanda Doring (Principal, Russell Kennedy), Amanda Trenfield (MD, Authentic Human) and Bronwen Batty (Senior Financial Adviser, Alteris Financial Group).

We explored the following topics:

  • Real-life accounts of challenges in navigating changing family relationships
  • How money intersects with family dynamics and the legal implications involved
  • Practical advice and strategies for managing unexpected life events.

We had an impressive turnout with overwhelmingly positive feedback from our guests. Through our Alteris Women initiative, we are committed to assisting our clients in tackling challenging topics, conversations, and decisions. We urge everyone to be proactive in these conversations and find that informal settings create a relaxed and more open atmosphere for discussing such important topics.

“Very informative true-life scenarios highlighting the need to be prepared.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us and our speakers for sharing their wealth of knowledge with all in attendance. We are looking forward to hosting more events in the new year and providing a platform to help advance the economic standing of women by providing insights, education, and tools that give them the confidence and empowerment to make decisions that best suit their needs.
